ICE Vulcan Print and Apply Labeller at Vocation Brewery

Clearmark Solutions has partnered with Vocation Brewery to install its first ICE Vulcan Print and Apply labelling system at their Halifax Factory. With sales of craft beers soaring due to lockdown restrictions when the nation's drinking habits became home-based, Vocation had to look at a new, faster way of applying labels to their boxes.

Since using this system, Vocation found that the cost to label each box of craft beer has dropped by an incredible 90%, costing the brewery just half a penny per label.

ICE Vulcan Zero Down Time System at Purity Drinks

This innovative system never stops - even to change the labels. One Vulcan seamlessly takes over labelling duty from the other without ever missing a pack.

For a 24/5 operation like this, this small but valuable time saver equates to an extra 90 packs every shift, which is an incredible 900 additional pallets per year.

With a very high-speed, non-pneumatic application which saves cost on the consumption of compressed air and reduces the carbon footprint, the virtually maintenance free design of the ICE Vulcan means running costs are far lower compared to other print & apply systems – ticking all the boxes for the customer.
