Annesley AFC, an under 10’s grassroots team based in Annesley, Nottingham has been sponsored by a local manufacturing company who have specialised in coding and labelling solutions since 2001. Clearmark Solutions, based in Sherwood Business Park, Nottingham is sponsoring the team training jackets for the next two years.

Mark Cass, Manager of AAFC reached out to Clearmark in July looking for sponsorships from local businesses for the team’s kit and to help support the set-up of the club. The children in the team all have a passion for football, which was largely and initially inspired by the England men's team's success of reaching the semi-finals at the 2018 World Cup, but more recently by England's Lionesses winning the 2022 European Championships in the summer!

The team currently plays at a division one standard on Saturday mornings in the Young Elizabethan League and is looking to add a player of similar ability. The future, and long-term ambitions of the club are to establish a home ground with changing facilities and pitches to play and train on, while being represented by both boys and girls teams across all age groups, and of all abilities.

This is a great opportunity for both Clearmark Solutions and Annesley AFC; with only being a start-up team, this will be their first season and they are thrilled with the amount of support they have received from local businesses wanting to sponsor their kit. The jackets will certainly come in handy as we head into the colder months and in their training sessions during the week, it’s certain the Clearmark logo will be hard to miss with it being displayed on the back and front of the jackets!
