Tuesday 27th - Thursday 29th September, Clearmark Solutions partnered with Videojet Technologies for the PPMA Total Show 2022 at the NEC, Birmingham. On stand E70, both Clearmark and Videojet had a range of coding, marking and labelling technologies in action, with demonstrations running throughout the day.

PPMA Total Show is the largest processing and packaging machinery exhibition in the UK. It covers the full spectrum of the industry; including food, beverage, pharmaceuticals, household products and toiletries, building materials and supplies, pet care, micro-brewery and distilleries, FMCG, as well as contract packers and more.

We had the ICE Zodiac Hawk and Eagle Thermal Transfer Overprinters (TTO) on the stand, and fielded questions as well as demonstrated both machines throughout each day at the show.

The Hawk, with a built-in print checking system capable of checking the print of each code it produces, largely removing the need to invest in costly add-on vision systems in order to meet increasing demand from retailers for code quality checks. Equally important, the coder’s ability to provide early warning of any potential loss of code quality helps to minimise production disruption and downtime, as well as reduce the risk of customer complaints or the possibility of a product recall, with its cost implications and potential damage to brand reputation.

The ICE Zodiac Eagle, an evolution of the popular ICE Zodiac HS 107mm printer which features an airless all electronic design, allowing for more precise control of the printhead and can help boost line throughput by up to 25%.
