Clearmark Throw Pop-up Fundraiser Festival ICE STOCK as Part of Annual Summer Fun Day Celebrations
1st August, 2019
Over 100 members of staff and their guests recently descended on the Clearmark estate to attend ICE STOCK, a pop-up festival of food, fundraising and music, as part of the company’s legendary annual summer fun day.
The pop-up festival, which was held on the Apollo House forecourt, was bustling with a mix of food and entertainment including fresh wood-fired pizza from The Rustic Crust, classic fast food dishes with an Indian twist from The English Indian, an assortment of flavoured gins from The Horsebox Bar, alcoholic ice cream from The Tipsy Cow, bouquets and succulents from Glasshouse Florals, a rodeo bull and electric car racing.
The festival also had a charity glitter and face painting station, a bake sale, a raffle and featured performances throughout the day and evening from reggae bands In a Vibe and The Upfront Reggae Band.
Over £800 was raised at the event, with proceeds from the glitter, face painting, bake sale and raffle being split between helping an employee’s niece with neuro-rehabilitation costs and The Rainbows Hospice, a charity which provides children and young people with palliative care.
As with previous years, the festival was kindly organised by the company directors to recognise accomplishments within the team and to celebrate Clearmark’s recent “Excellence in Industry” award win at the Nottingham Post Business Awards.
