Clearmark Team Climb Mount Snowdon for The Rainbows Hospice

30th May, 2018

Bright and early on Saturday 26th May, members of the Cleamark team completed their fundraising journey by heading to Snowdonia National park to climb the highest mountain in Wales.

Despite a late start, the team battled on to conquer the 1,086-metre tall giant, which resulted in over ten miles of climbing, 27,528 steps or the equivalent of 287 flights of stairs.

The challenge was completed to support Rainbows Hospice, a Midland’s based charity that helps children and young people that are affected by life-limiting and life-threatening conditions.

By the end of the challenge, the team managed to raise over £600, with plans to support the charity with additional challenges throughout the year.

Lottie Bayliss, Marketing Assistant at Clearmark said: “We’re thrilled to have tackled this challenge for the hospice. In 2017 we raised an impressive £2,670 for the charity, every donation big or small continues to ensure that this amazing facility remains open and functioning to help support life-limited children and their families.”

There’s still time to donate – if you wish to place a donation please visit the Clearmark JustGiving charity fundraising page.
